TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson and Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet;

HAVING CONSIDERED the request from the Zeitenspiegel Reportagen of Germany on behalf of Mr. Lukas Coch (photojournalist), for permission to film in the Public Gallery of Courtroom I on Thursday, the 6th of March 2008, received by the Trial Chamber on the 3rd of March 2008;

PURSUANT TO Rule 81 (D) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. That Mr. Lukas Coch is authorised to film in the Public Gallery of Courtroom I during the trial proceedings of Prosecutor v. Sesay, Kallon and Gbao on Thursday, the 6th of March 2008;
  2. That, unless specifically authorised, he may not film any of the Accused before the Court;
  3. That the use of the images and any commentary related thereto, should not, in any circumstances, be used in any way that could compromise or impair the fairness of the proceedings;
  4. That a representative of the Press and Public Affairs Office of the Special Court shall accompany him at all times during the filming.
