TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson and Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet;

RECALLING the Chamber’s Order Detailing Judicial Calendar, filed on the 6th of December 2007, ordering that a Status Conference be held on Wednesday, the 9th of April 2008 at 10:00 a.m. and that the trial would resume on Thursday, the 10th of April 2008 at 9:30 a.m.;

NOTING the need for a Status Conference to address certain pertinent issues and for expeditiousness in the Trial Proceedings;

MINDFUL OF the filing by the Defence of the 2nd Accused, dated the 22nd of February 2008 indicating that Morris Kallon, the 2nd Accused will be testifying on his own behalf in accordance with the provisions of Rule 85 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence;

PURSUANT TO Rule 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence;

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

1) That a Status Conference will be held on Wednesday, the 12th of March 2008 at 10:00 a.m.;

2) That the Defence for the 2nd Accused, Morris Kallon, will commence its case on Thursday, the 10th of April 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with the testimony of the 2nd Accused, Morris Kallon, testifying on his own behalf.

Subject to any further Order by this Chamber, the trial will then proceed continuously until its completion, save for Judicial Recesses.
