TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet, and Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe;

HAVING CONSIDERED the request from the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway on behalf of Mr. Dag Bredvei of NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation), and Mr. Kristian Skaardalsmo of NTB (Norwegian Wire Agency) for permission to film in the Public Gallery of Courtroom I on Thursday, the 21st of June 2007, received by the Trial Chamber on the 18th of June 2007;

PURSUANT TO Rule 81 (D) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. That Mr. Bredvei and Mr. Skaardalsmo are authorised to film in the Public Gallery of Courtroom I during the trial proceedings of Prosecutor v. Sesay, Kallon and Gbao on Thursday, the 21st of June 2007;
  2. That, unless specifically authorised, they may not film any of the Accused before the Court;
  3. That the use of the images and any commentary related thereto, should not, in any circumstances, be used in any way that could compromise or impair the fairness of the proceedings;
  4. That a representative of the Press and Public Affairs Office of the Special Court shall accompany them at all times during the filming.
