TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber I”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet, and Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe;

HAVING RECEIVED the Motion for Delayed Disclosure and Related Measures for Witnesses (“Motion”), filed confidentially by Counsel for the Third Accused, Augustine Gbao (“Defence”) on the 14th of February 2007;

CONSIDERING that Article 17(4)(c) of the Statute of the Special Court provides that the Accused shall be entitled “to be tried without undue delay”;

CONSIDERING that the fair and expeditious consideration of the Motion requires the imposition of an expedited timetable for the filing of any remaining written submissions;[1]

PURSUANT TO Rule 7(C), 26bis, 54, 73 and of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

HEREBY ORDERS as follows:

  1. Any Response to the Motion by the Office of the Prosecutor shall be filed no later than Friday the 16th of February 2007, at 04:00pm;
  2. Any Reply by the Defence shall be filed no later than Monday the 19th of February 2007, at 04:00pm;

INSTRUCTS the Court Management Section of the Special Court to serve the present Order after 04:00pm today.
