I, JUDGE TERESA DOHERTY, Presiding Judge of Trial Chamber II (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”), designated from among the members of Trial Chamber II pursuant to Rule 73(A) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court (“the Rules”);
CONSIDERING the Renewed Prosecution Motion for Protective Measures pursuant to Order to the Prosecution for Renewed Motion for Protective Measures Dated 2 April 2004 (“the Motion”), filed on 4 May 2004;
CONSIDERING the “Interim Order on Modification of Protective Measures for Witnesses” issued on 20 January 2005;
NOTING that that a hearing would be helpful for an evaluation of the current security situation in Sierra Leone and the need of protecting witnesses;
PURSUANT to Rule 54 and Rule 73(A) of the Rules;
HERBY ORDERS that a Hearing shall be held on Thursday, 3 February 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Court Room 2;
FURTHER ORDERS the Prosecution to provide the Trial Chamber and the Defence by Tuesday, 1 February 2005 at 4:00 p.m. a list that indicates which witnesses on the current witness list have or will be testifying in other proceedings before the Special Court and have received protective measures from orders of a different Trial Chamber or Judge.
FURTHER in the case of those witnesses who have already testified in other proceedings, the Prosecution should indicate the dates of such testimony.
