NOTING the Gbao - Decision on Application to Withdraw Counsel of 6 July 2004;

BEING SEIZED of the Defence Application for Leave to Appeal Gbao - Decision on Application to Withdraw Counsel, filed by Counsel for the Accused Augustine Gbao on 9 July 2004 (“Motion”) pursuant to Rule 73(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court (“Rules”);

CONSIDERING the need for the Motion to be dealt with expeditiously;

CONSIDERING that a fair and expeditious consideration of the Motion necessitates the imposition of an expedited timetable for the filing of any remaining written submissions;

COGNISANT of Rule 73(B) of the Rules;

PURSUANT to Rule 7(C) of the Rules;

HEREBY ORDERS as follows:

  1. Any Prosecution response to the Motion shall be filed by Monday, 19 July 2004;
  2. Any Defence Reply shall be filed no later than Thursday, 22 July 2004.
