The Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (Amendment) Act, 2007.

Being an Act to amend the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration Act, 2000.

Enacted by the President and Members of Parliament in this present Parliament assembled.

The Sierra Leone Maritime Administration Act, 2000 is hereby amended as follows:-

(a) by the repeal and replacement of subsection (5) of section 11 thereof by the following:-

"(5) The proceeds of any charge imposed under this section shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund."

(b) by the repeal and replacement of section 21 thereof by the following section:-

21. The activities of the Administration shall be financed by a fund consisting of -

(a) moneys appropriated by Parliament for the purposes of the Administration,

(b) any loans raised by the Administration with the approval of the Minister;

(c) any investment revenue; and

(d) gifts or donations from any person or organisation."
