A BILL ENTITLED

The Hospital Boards (Amendment) Act, 2007.

Being an Act to amend the Hospital Boards Act, 2003.

Enacted by the President and Members of Parliament in this present Parliament assembled.

The Hospital Boards Act, 2003 is hereby amended

by the insertion immediately after section 14 thereof of the following new section:-

Fees charged under paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section 13 and paragraph (c) of section 14 shall be paid into the Consolidate Fund".

by the repeal and replacement of section 20 thereof by the following section: -

The activities of a Hospital Board shall be financed by a fund consisting of-

moneys appropriated by Parliament for the purposes of the Board;

gifts or donations from any person or organization whether local or external;

income from money invested by the Board"
