The Freetown Municipality (Amendment) Act, 1975

[14th August, 1975}.

Be it enacted bv the President and Members of Parliament in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: —

1. The Freetown Municipality Act, 1973 is hereby amended by the insertion immediately after section 101 thereof of the following new section—-

101a. The City Council of Freetown may by Resolution passed by not less than two-thirds of the members voting thereon at a meeting; of the Council specially convened for the purpose with notice of the object and with the approval of the Minister enter into a Twin City Relationship or Sister City Programme with any Local Authority in any part of the world."

Passed in Parliament this 28th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventy-five.
