The Bank of Sierra Leone (Amendment) Act, 1974

[9th September, 1974]

Be it enacted by the President and Members of Parliament in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: —

1. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 9th day of September.. 1974.

2. Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 34 of the Bank of Sierra Leone Act. 1963 as amended by the Bank of Sierra Leone (Amendment) Act, 1970 is hereby repealed and replaced by the following new paragraph—

" (a) shall not, in total amount outstanding exceed at any time ten per cent of the estimated recurrent budget revenue as laid before Parliament for the Government financial year in"which the advances are granted;".

Passed in Parliament this 9th day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventv-four.
