ORDER DETAILING JUDICIAL CALENDAR FOR THE CDF TRIAL

THE TRIAL CHAMBER (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Judge Benjamin Mutanga Itoe, Presiding Judge, Hon. Judge Bankole Thompson, and Hon. Judge Pierre Boutet;

RECALLING the Trial Chamber’s decision of 11 May 2004, in which it ordered that the joint trial of the three Accused, Sam Hinga Norman, Moinina Fofana and Allieu Kondewa, shall commence on 3 June 2004 at 10.00 a.m;

NOTING the Trial Chamber’s Order Detailing the Judicial Calendar for the Upcoming Trial Sessions, rendered on 26 May 2004;

PURSUANT TO Rule 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

HEREBY ORDERS that, unless otherwise ordered, the Trial Chamber will sit Monday to Friday with a Court recess on Wednesday afternoon. Fridays will be reserved for the hearing of motions or arguments as necessary;

Unless otherwise ordered, the hours of court operation on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will be from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with a break for lunch at 1.00 to 3.00 p.m. On Wednesday, the hours of Court operation will be from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

HEREBY ORDERS that the third trial session of this case will run from 1 November 2004 to 7 December 2004.
