THE TRIAL CHAMBER (“Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Judge Benjamin Mutanga Itoe, Presiding Judge, Hon. Judge Bankole Thompson and Hon. Judge Pierre Boutet;
HAVING CONSIDERED the request from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), a United States based network, for permission to film in the Courtroom during the trial proceedings of The Prosecutor v. Sam Hinga Norman, Moinina Fofana and Allieu Kondewa;
PURSUANT TO Rule 81 (D) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;
ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
- That one representative of the NBC, chosen and designated by itself, is authorised to film in the Courtroom during Trial proceedings on Monday the 29th of November, 2004;
- Unless specifically authorised, this representative of the NBC may not, under any circumstances, film any of the witnesses before the Court or be present in the court room during closed sessions, and must comply with all orders of the Court regarding protective measures for witnesses.
