ORDER CONCERNING THE FILING OF STATUS REPORTS REGARDING ADDITIONAL AGREED UPON POINTS OF FACT AND LAW

TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet, and Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe;

MINDFUL of the “Consequential Orders Concerning the Preparation and the Commencement of the Defence Case”, which the Chamber issued on the 28th of March 2007 (“Consequential Orders”);

NOTING that Order No. 12 of the Consequential Orders provides that the Office of the Prosecutor (“Prosecution”) and each of the Defence Teams shall file, every 2 months from the date of the Consequential Orders, a status report on any additional points of law or facts that they have agreed upon, and that such report must be signed by the parties;

NOTING further that the date for the filing of the first set of status reports provided for Order No. 12 of the Consequential Orders was the 28th of May 2007;

NOTING the “Gbao – Filing of Status Report on Additional Agreed Points of Law or Facts”, filed jointly by the Court Appointed Counsel for the Third Accused, Augustine Gbao and the Prosecution on the 28th of May 2007 in compliance with Order No. 12 of the Consequential Orders;

THE CHAMBER HEREBY DIRECTS Counsel for the First Accused, Issa Hassan Sesay and Counsel for the Second Accused, Morris Kallon and the Prosecution to jointly file the respective status reports for the First and Second Accused, which were due on the 28th of May 2007, by no later than Tuesday, 12th of June 2007 at 4:00p.m. and from then on to comply with the schedule for the filing of such further status reports as set out in Order No. 12 of the Consequential Orders. The next such status reports are therefore due on the 28th of July 2007.
