TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet, and Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe;

HAVING CONSIDERED the request from Rebecca Richman Cohen, the Producer and Director of Racing Horse Productions, for permission to film in the body of Courtroom I during the opening statement of Mr. Wayne Jordash, Counsel for the First Accused, Issa Sesay, received by the Trial Chamber on the 30th of April 2007;

PURSUANT TO Rule 81 (D) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. That Rebecca Richman Cohen is authorised to film in the body of Courtroom I during the opening statement of Mr. Jordash in Prosecutor v. Sesay, Kallon and Gbao on Thursday, the 3rd of May 2007;
  2. That, unless specifically authorised, she may not film any of the Accused before the Court;
  3. That the use of the images and any commentary related thereto, should not, in any circumstances, be used in any way that could compromise or impair the fairness of the proceedings;
  4. That a representative of the Press and Public Affairs Office of the Special Court shall accompany her at all times during the filming.
