TRIAL CHAMBER I

SCHEDULING ORDER

TRIAL CHAMBER I (“The Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe and Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet;

RECALLING the Trial Chamber’s Decision of 11th of May, 2004, in which it ordered that the joint trial of the three accused, Sam Hinga Norman, Moinina Fofana and Allieu Kondewa, shall commence on the 3rd of June, 2004 at 10:00 a.m;

NOTING that the last Status Conference in this case was held on the 8th of February, 2005;

NOTING that the fourth trial session was held from the 8th of February, 2005 to the 17th of March, 2005 pursuant to the Trial Chamber’s Order Detailing Judicial Calendar, rendered on the 8th of October, 2004, which further ordered that the fifth trial session would run from the 18th of May, 2005 to the 27th of June, 2005;

NOTING the Subsequent Order of the Trial Chamber on the 15th of March, 2005, that the fifth trial session would commence on the 24th of May, 2005 instead of the 18th of May, 2005;

PURSUANT TO Rule 54 and Rule 65 bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

HEREBY ORDERS that a Status Conference shall be held on Tuesday, the 24th of May, 2005 at 9.30 a.m. in Courtroom 1; and

FURTHER ORDERS that the fifth trial session will run from the 25th of May, 2005 to the 24th of June, 2005.
