The Passports (Amendment) Act, 1974
Be it enacted by the President and Members of Parliament in this present Parliament assembled, as follows:—?
1. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 30th day of June, 1974.
2. The Passports Act, 1964 is hereby amended by the addition immediately after section 7 of the following new section 8—
8. The President shall have power to make any Order or Rules for the further carrying into effect of the provisions of this Act and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing shall have power to make Orders or Rules for the use of travel documents other than passports and for the payment of fees, for such documents. v.
Passed in Parliament this 28th day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventy-four.
