THE TRIAL CHAMBER (“Trial Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Judge Benjamin Mutanga Itoe, Presiding Judge, Hon. Judge Bankole Thompson, and Hon. Judge Pierre Boutet;


RECALLING the Trial Chamber’s decision of 11 May 2004, in which it ordered that the joint trial of the three accused, Issa Hassan Sesay, Morris Kallon and Augustine Gbao (“RUF trial”), shall commence on 5 July 2004 at 10:00am;


RECALLING the Trial Chamber’s Order Detailing the Judicial Calendar for the Upcoming Trial Sessions dated 26 May 2004 in which it ordered that the first and second trial sessions for the RUF trial would run in July and October 2004, respectively;


PURSUANT TO Rule 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;


HEREBY ORDERS that, unless otherwise ordered, the Trial Chamber will sit Monday to Friday, with a Court recess on Wednesday afternoon. Fridays will be reserved for the hearing of motions or arguments as necessary.


Unless otherwise ordered, the hours of court operation on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday, the hours of court operation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.


HEREBY ORDERS that the third trial session for this case will run from 10 January 2005 to 4 February 2005, inclusive.
